Eygpt and the Metal

Metal and grunge was for Magpie I am not quite satisfied with this yet so I may add or change it yet.

Eygpt was done for 3peaches, the backing was cut from a calendar I bought in Eygpt and distressed then I partially covered it with henna ink and copper coloured acrylic.

Magical Moon and the Vintage Butterflies

Magical Moon is for Dragonfly Jane and the background is a mixture of wax encaustic, a mica glimmer mist, and paint. This is the 1st time I experimented with encaustic and it was interesting - in fact i may play again.

Vintage butterfles is for pinkster I used blue and willow green paint dabbers for the background and as many butterflies as I could fit on!

Caribbean Islands, and the Blues

Caribbean island - for wisher includes a turtle at her request.

The Blues has a blues guitarist and a sax, a tribute to Gary Moore and my favourite piece of music "Still got the blues"

JIGGY TIME AGAIN !

I am working on my small jiggy pieces for a swap on ukscrappers. Being a duffus I got the date wrong and panicked because I thought it was posting on 22/02/10 but no! I had written it wrongly on the calendar so I have 4 whole weeks to do the last 2 pieces. Still I am busy as I am working on a scrap book about me, I am incorporating the new monthly scrapping challenge, and hope to collect a year in my life, and turn them into one album.
This piece is MIckey and Friends for sixophone

times are hard!

I have made a decision not to buy anymore craft stuff - I have way too much. As the result of being a chronic hoarder, I buy new bits all the time and so much is left unused and stored all over the house. Because of family circumstances I dont have a craft room at present, so now is a good time to get my stash down to a managable level.
However I did do this weeks challenge on UKScrappers, as a digital layout on Scrapblog. Also I have to make 2 spidermen and 1 fantastic Mr Fox mask by thursday - or I lose Grandma status!
