Funny stuff

Words for Women to Live By…

1. Aspire to be Barbie - the b!tch has everything.

2. If the shoe fits - buy them in every colour.

3. Take life with a pinch of salt... A wedge of lime, and a shot of tequila.

4. In need of a support group? - Cocktail hour with the girls!

5. Go on the 30 day diet. (I'm on it and so far I've lost 15 days).

6. When life gets you down - just put on your big girl panties and deal with it.

7. Let your greatest fear be that there is no PMS and this is just your personality.

8. I know I'm in my own little world, but it's ok. They know me here.

9. Lead me not into temptation, I can find it myself.

10. Don't get your kn!ckers in a knot; it solves nothing and makes you walk funny.

11. When life gives you lemons in 2009 - turn it into lemonade then mix it with vodka.

12. Remember where ever there is a good looking; sweet, single or married man there is some woman tired of his bullshit!

13. Keep your chin up, only the first 40 years of parenthood are the hardest.

14. If it has Tires or Testicles it's gonna give you trouble.

15. By the time a women realizes her mother was right, she has a daughter who thinks she's wrong.

'Good friends are like stars.........You don't always see them, but you know they are always there'

'Remember yesterday, dream about tomorrow, but live for today'.

I love stuff that is funny because it is true and these things all are :)

Scrap lift

Today i did the weekly challenge on UKS and really enjoyed it. I did a scrap lift of the "black and blue" class from the last UKS CYBERCROP. I had done the original class with photos of my grandaughter. I wanted the opposite page in her fathers album to show him in his scuba gear. He had got his diving licience and was very pleased about it. I think the pages worked out well together although I didnt have the same papers I improvised and stamped, drew and daubed on plain paper to get similar effects.

Doing an album at the speed of light!

I have had a really busy week - my daughter is having a family party for her birthday but i volunteered to make quite a bit of food.
For the last three days i have worked none stop on my son's album. I have made 27
Layouts in the last three days, its was exhausting but so worth while.

Here are a couple of examples from the album, from the previous generations pages. The whole album is finished now i am glad to say.

Little doors

Two little fairy doors for a swap on UKS. One is a fairydoor disguised as a bush and guarded by fairy Rihana and her dragonfly, the other is a goblin door, built in a rubbish dump and guarded by a goblin called Grebbon.

boston

Just a quick note Boston is feeling better he is healing up nicely and i suspect it was my fault he got ill i think he may have an allergy to his flea treatment! If he gets better and stays better than i think i have the culpret and he wont be using it again - i will have to stuff him full of garlic capsules instead.

Boston

My poor dog has an allergy to something and he's developed sore patches and bumps under his skin and raw patches. The vet charged a fortune for steroids and a cream and washes but says we need to spend £800 to get allergy tests done, that is a lot of money. I am hoping that he will clear up but i feel so sorry for his sore face and neck, i also think it maybe the flea treatment that he had a few days ago. Fingers crossed he will feel better soon.

Thank you QVC

Having the house rewired has taken up so much more time than i ever imagined and made much more mess. So instead of trying to scrapbook i had a tray of goodies that went from room to room with me. Thanks to an old QVC kit i have got all of my xmas cards, one thank you card, two birthday cards and an anniversary card completed.
